Richard III
Cedar block, paint
6 x 88 x 48 in
15 x 224 x 122 cm
1998
Cedar blocks have been cut and sanded, and then donned with a dot or dash to represent the elements of Morse code. For this work, a passage from William Shakespeare’s Richard III has been translated into Morse code and arranged on the floor as a readable sculpture.
