Possessions for Judgment Day is a multi-media installation that was exhibited at Project Row Houses in Houston, Texas. Blues lyrics from both famous and local Texas musicians were transcribed, laser-cut from plastic and cast into urethane gold bars. They rested on pedestals in the center of the gallery space. Those same lyrics were read by young children that live in the 4th ward of Houston. The readings were recorded at the historic Eldorado Ball Room and mixed and mastered at Sugar Hill Studios. The young voices of the children reading the lyrics of life-hardened adults are both beautiful and haunting.
