An independent answering service was set-up so that people could call in anonymously to give their opinion of Richard Humann. The phone calls were recorded and transcribed, and then read by actors in a recording studio. The artist had no idea of who the callers were and has only heard the recorded actor’s version. The anonymity was left intact so that people could call in with the full freedom of honesty. The recordings were displayed as a two-channel sound piece played in a continuous loop.
